Pond Hill Farm
Commercial Case Study
When a septic field failure led to a pumpkin recall and a PR crisis, Pond Hill Farm turned to us for help. Known for its family-friendly attractions like trout fishing, a café, wine and beer tastings, and a fall pumpkin extravaganza, the farm faced a major setback when pumpkins placed over the septic field became contaminated due to a system failure. The situation required immediate action to restore operations and public trust.
We resolved the issue by installing Aerobic Bacterial Generators (ABG) in the existing tanks, quickly curing the leach field failure. To support the farm’s growth, we expanded treatment capacity with additional tanks and SludgeHammer® units, creating a 3,000 sq. ft. drip irrigation field for the final effluent.
