Designed to address premature filter clogging in single-compartment septic tanks, the Circular Matrix Filter (CMF) provides an innovative, passive solution for improving effluent quality and protecting downstream systems. This durable, easy-to-install barrier wraps around the effluent filter, capturing suspended solids before they reach the outlet and preventing costly field failure.
Engineered specifically for systems without a primary settling chamber, the CMF adds a critical layer of protection by intercepting residual particulates. Constructed from a high-surface-area blue matrix, it allows unrestricted flow while maximizing filtration performance and supporting long-term septic health.
With no moving parts and zero electrical requirements, the CMF is a maintenance-friendly upgrade that complements existing effluent filters like the Bear canister or STF pleated models. Its tethering system ensures upright positioning and prevents filter crowding, while the cinchable base secures tightly around standard 4” outlet pipes for reliable operation.
