The Science Behind SludgeHammer®

SludgeHammer® ABG (Aerobic Bacteria Generator) uses advanced microbial technology to treat wastewater efficiently. A compact proprietary unit houses a matrix where waste-eating microbes thrive.

Using the energy of a single lightbulb, SludgeHammer® Technology aerates, circulates, and inoculates the tank, rapidly processing up to 33,000 gallons of wastewater daily, per unit.

Our History

Dr. Dan Wickham, a Ph.D. in biology, spent years using microorganisms to detoxify petroleum-contaminated soil. Drawing on his expertise as a research ecologist at the University of California, he adapted microbial biotechnology for wastewater treatment.

His work led to the development of the Aerobic Bacterial Generator (ABG), a breakthrough in applying advanced microbiology to wastewater systems. The latest version, the SludgeHammer, is now widely used in thousands of septic and industrial systems worldwide.
